Welcome to SU Libraries

A.A. Lemieux Library
As an intellectual, educational, and cultural center integrated with and in service to a vibrant academic community, A.A. Lemieux Library and its staff are dedicated to supporting Seattle University's vision and mission as expressed by these commitments to; build, organize, and maintain superior collections of informational and scholarly resources in tangible and digital formats; connect the members of the community to those resources through effective physical and electronic access, reinforced by flexible and personalized services; teach information competencies to ensure the effective use of those resources in our academic programs and to enable the pursuit of lifelong learning.
Law Library
The Seattle University Law Library's mission is to "provide the highest quality information resources and services to support the instructional, research and scholarship endeavors of the Seattle University School of Law and the Seattle University community." Search the New Summit catalog
Work continues on the upgraded Summit unified catalog, which allows you to request books and materials from other regional academic libraries in the Orbis Cascade Alliance. The new Summit catalog continues to improve with use.
The new and improved Summit catalog makes it easier for you to find the items you're looking for. With one search, the new Summit catalog presents results from the collections of the Orbis Cascade Alliance's member institutions in Oregon and Washington, followed by results from libraries around the world: in all, more than 107 million records for books and other materials.

Digital Library
Lemieux Library has begun digitizing some of our most interesting collections of historical university documents. We've begun with the back archive of the student newspaper, the Spectator. Our digital collection covers the student paper from 1933 to 2004.
